Medical Transport

Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) is a transportation service provided to consumers who are not in an emergency medical situation but need assistance in getting to their preventative medical appointments.

More than 3.6 million people miss their medical appointments each year due to transportation barriers. Many patients, such those with mobility issues, require transportation assistance. Missed preventative care often results in increased health-related illnesses and many underserved consumers with unmet transport needs are greatly impacted. Studies prove that increasing transportation access to medical services results in significant savings for healthcare providers and better outcomes for patients.

Carbon Medical Service will pick up patients at their homes and drive them to their preventative care appointments. Dedicated drivers help patients into vehicles and assist with their wheelchairs, walkers, and crutches. Carbon Medical Service ensures safe arrival inside our clinics and a secure drive home—confirming that patients reach their front doors.

To schedule a pickup in Carbon or Emery County please call our offices at least 2 days in advance of your appointment. We will get your information and arrange for our driver to pick you up.

We also offer pharmacy delivery for patients.
